A couple of months ago a received a special request from a client to paint something unique for his wife on their Anniversary. The inquiry was so sweet I could not resist! His wife simply loved her wedding shoes, and he wanted me to make them last forever through a painting. After seeing these beautiful, sparkly, Kate Spade works of art I was inspired and challenged! Creating this sparkly look was not going to be an easy task! But, I accepted the challenge and got to work to meet the deadline.

So, after several weeks of layering those tiny spots of color to recreate these shoes this is the end result! I hope you like it! I heard it was a big hit with his wife, and they are going to be happy to pass it on as a family heirloom! (So touching! #tear)
