Well, I have to say that I had an amazing weekend in Austin! Even though I lived in Dallas for many years I never did spend too much time in Austin. Now, I am sad that I never did. I was truly missing out! This is such an amazing city! It is very easy to navigate, a million places to eat and drink, live music everywhere, incredibly nice people (including the bicycle chariots that will drive you where ever your heart desires), and most of all... people really appreciating ART!
I had a wonderful time, with my amazing assistant, my sister! I really appreciate how great this show was ran by the Art Alliance. I just hope I get to go back next year!
This weekend is the longly awaited Brookside Art Annual! I am very excited for this show in my hometown of Kansas City! This show has an amazing quality of artists that are put together, this year and every year. I am so glad to be a part of it! I will be showing at booth #15, under the big tent this year. The awesome thing is the crowd can look at art rain or shine due to the awesome tent that covers over half the show!
I can not wait to share my new work for 2009 with everyone!
