Cotton Candy Crush, 60 x 60 x 3, oil on canvas
Abstract oil painting composed of layers of bright colors, soft glazes, and beautiful pinks, blues and purples. I can’t help but think of cotton candy when I look at this painting. The memories it invokes as a child, and the pure joy of consuming sugary goodies at a ballgame. It is amazing how I can associate so many wonderful memories with something as simple as a food, as song, a place, or even a pair of shoes.
